Vendors Module - User Guide
The Vendors Module in Zaris CRM helps businesses efficiently manage supplier and vendor information from a centralized location. Store, view and update vendor details so procurement and supply chain teams stay aligned with Quick Edit, full Detail View, and Quick Create Vendor built into every workflow.
Centralized vendor list
Every supplier in one table name, phone, website, email, GL account and assignee with column filters and bulk actions.
Quick Edit on the grid
Update vendor name, phone, email, category or assignee from the list without opening the full record.
Linked procurement records
Detail View connects Products, Purchase Orders, Contacts and Emails so teams collaborate on every supplier relationship.
Vendors Module Overview
The Vendors Module in Zaris CRM helps businesses efficiently manage supplier and vendor information from a centralized location. It enables users to store, view, and update vendor details, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement and supply chain operations.
- Centralized view of all vendors with color-coded GL account badges.
- Primary email shown in compact chips for fast scanning.
- Add Vendor, Import and Customize actions in the list header.
Quick Edit For Vendors
The Quick Edit functionality lets users make instant updates directly from the list or quick view screen. Modify key fields without opening the full record faster and more efficient vendor data management for procurement teams.
- Vendor Name — rename or correct supplier labels on the spot.
- Primary Number and Primary Email — keep contact details current.
- Category and Assigned To — route ownership without extra clicks.
Details View For Vendors
The Details View provides a comprehensive overview of the selected vendor contact details, website, address, financial information, and associated Products, Purchase Orders and Quotes. Comments, Attachments and Activities keep collaboration and tracking in one place. The Edit button in the header allows direct access for modifications.
- Vendor Information: name, contact details, website and address.
- Financial Information: payment terms, currency and tax details.
- Associated Records: Products, Purchase Orders, Contacts and Emails.
Add New Vendor
To create a new vendor, click the + Add Vendor button in the Vendors module list view. A popup appears for entering vendor details. Once saved, the vendor appears in the list ready to link with Purchase Orders and Products.
- Vendor Name (mandatory) — primary supplier label.
- Contact Number and Email — reach the vendor quickly.
- Assigned User — route ownership from day one.
Edit Vendor
To update vendor details, open the vendor record and click the Edit option in the header. Users can modify any existing information, update associated records, or attach relevant documents. After making changes, click Save to apply updates instantly.
