The Field Auto Fill Module in Zaris CRM is designed to simplify data entry by automatically populating fields based on existing information within the system. This feature saves time, reduces manual effort, and minimizes errors, ensuring that your records are always accurate and consistent.

Automatic Field Population
When creating or updating records, relevant fields are automatically filled with data pulled from existing modules. For example, if a Lead is converted to a Contact, Organization details can be auto-filled without re-entering the same information.
Cross-Module Data Mapping
The module supports smart mapping between different CRM modules such as Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, Invoices, and more. This ensures smooth data flow across the system, reducing redundancy and maintaining consistency.
Time-Saving Automation
Routine tasks like copying addresses, contact information, or product details are automated, allowing teams to focus more on sales, service, and decision-making rather than repetitive data entry.

How it works
- Configuration:
- Access the extension settings by going to Other Settings > Field Autofill.
- Select the modules you want to link (e.g., Organization to Contact).
- Click Add Mapping and choose the fields you want to transfer data from one module to the other.
- Data Transfer:
- When creating a new record in a linked module (e.g., creating a new contact), select the existing related record (e.g., an organization).
- A dialog box will appear, asking to confirm the autofill action.
- Clicking “Yes” will automatically populate the designated fields in the new record with the data from the linked record, such as the organization’s website and address populating the new contact’s record
